An Ordinance amending Chapter 51, Subdivision Regulations of the City of Brookings pertaining to Plat Requirements for purposes of Administration of the Subdivision Ordinance
Be It Ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota that the Subdivision Regulations be amended as follows:
ARTICLE II. SUBDIVISION PLANS IN GENERAL
That Section 51-23 of Article II. of the Subdivision Regulations shall be amended to read as follows:
Sec. 51-23. – Plat approval process.
- The plat shall provide the information indicated in the subdivision improvements and design standards for final plats and shall require the review and recommendation of the community development director and city engineer. The plat shall be in conformance with an approved preliminary plat if a preliminary plat is required.
ARTICLE IV. FINAL PLAT
That Section 51-43 of Article IV. of the Subdivision Regulations shall be amended to read as follows:
Sec. 51-43. – Final plat approval.
The final plat shall be submitted to the community development director and city engineer for their review and recommendation to the city manager. The community development director and city engineer shall act upon the final plat within 45 days after the submission of the final plat to the community development department. If no action is taken within 45 days of submission, said final plat shall be deemed to have been recommended for approval and forwarded to the city manager for approval.
ARTICLE V. REPLAT APPROVAL
That Section 51-51 of Article V. of the Subdivision Regulations shall be amended to read as follows:
Sect. 51-64. – Replat requirements.
(d) Approval of replats. If the replats meets the requirements set forth in this chapter, it may be submitted to the community development director and city engineer and approved in the same manner as a plat.
Any and all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
