NOTICE TO BIDDERS

City Land Lease, Brookings Regional Landfill

Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of Brookings, South Dakota, at the office of the City Clerk at the Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 3^rd Street, Suite 230, PO Box 270, Brookings, South Dakota, until 1:30 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2020, for Landfill Farm Land.  All bids will then be publicly opened and read.

The bids are to lease approximately 120 acres of farm land located in the NE ¼ of Section 8-T110N-R49W, in Aurora Township, Brookings County.

Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the Landfill’s Office, at 4101 30^th Street Brookings, South Dakota, 57006 or online at www.cityofbrookings.org.  Questions should be directed to Todd Langland, Director of Solid Waste, at 605-693-3667.

All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and shall state on the left corner of the envelope, “Landfill Farm Land.”  Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the actual opening thereof.  The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
