Forward Into Light South Dakota - Building Lighting and Statewide Toast2020-08-26T22:25:00On this day 100 years ago, the 19th Amendment was signed into law. We’ll be lighting the City and County Government Center as other monuments and icons statewide in South Dakota also do so in honor of this historic milestone.
Organizations and individuals together from all corners of the state will join together from a distance as Governor Noem leads us in a statewide toast as we cheers to 100 years of women having the vote!
A statewide broadcast featuring the South Dakota landmark lightings and a commemorative toast is scheduled at 10:20 p.m. CDT/9:20 p.m. MDT on Aug. 26 on KOTA and KEVN, Rapid City and KDLT and KSFY, Sioux Falls.
